The University of Applied Sciences Windesheim campus will be converted into a compact, high-quality learning environment in which knowledge exchange gets a boost. The placement of the buildings in the campus is designed to optimize the mutual relationships between the different buildings. All buildings are grouped around a new green heart of the campus: the central meeting place for students and staff. In 2016, Broekbakema updated the Master Plan in collaboration with Hogeschool Windesheim and the municipality of Zwolle to improve the connection between the campus and the city center of Zwolle.
